A Page A Week Widens Your Fishing Net

Companies that want to succeed with their websites need to be constantly weaving a bigger fishing net in the form of new content to their websites.

Many companies budget for a new website, but don’t budget for ongoing development.

They will fall behind.

It doesn’t matter how great your website looks. When you don’t update it with fresh new content, you will lose out to those who do.

For example, if you don’t freshen your website content, search engines will “demote” your site, and your pages will show up lower on their search results pages

Prospects who come back to your site and see nothing new, will click away.

You will also be seriously limiting your outreach by not constantly adding new pages.

Continually adding pages is like continually widening your fishing net.

Think about it, if you add just one page a week, in a year, a 20-page website will be 70+ pages strong.

Easy Web Tip #36: Remember, every time you add a page to your site, you can add additional keywords/search terms (bait) that will bring someone new to your site. It’s like making your fishing net bigger. A lot bigger.
