When my garden is in bloom, I wish it could be in bloom always. It’s so beautiful.
In the winter, all is dreary. We don’t have snow where I live, so everything is fog and grey.
The only signs of life outside are a few evergreen bushes, including my beautiful olive tree.
They represent hope.
Over the years, I’ve found that project or portfolio pages are like evergreen plants on websites.
For your shopper, they represent the hope that he or she, too, can have similar results.
Best of all, project pages are evergreen. They last for years and years and, if optimized for search traffic, can bring targeted customers to your website making them some of the most valuable pages local companies can build.
It does take some time and effort to put the pages together. You have to contact your customer and get them to agree to have them, along with their home or business, photographed.
Some won’t want to. That’s okay, move on. Most will be very happy and honored to help you..
Easy Web Tip 383: Build project pages for your website. They’re powerful.
